34-year-old arrested after police pursuit in Glendale that led to crash

GLENDALE, Wis. (CBS 58) – According to Glendale Police, an officer attempted to stop a vehicle with a stolen license plate on Saturday, May 11th.

It happened around 4:46 p.m. near Silver Spring and Washington

According to police, the vehicle fled. The fleeing vehicle turned into oncoming traffic to avoid the stop bars that were in place.

Two vehicles were struck by the fleeing vehicle. According to police, the driver of the vehicle, a 34-year-old man from Milwaukee, fled on foot. He was arrested a short time later.

There were no other people in the fleeing vehicle. The two vehicles that were hit suffered minor injuries and could not be transported to a hospital.

Police say the fleeing vehicle was not stolen and charges are being reviewed by the Milwaukee Co. District Attorney’s Office.
