Accidents and Injuries Involving Numerous Ford Pickup Trucks Lead to Federal Investigation – News/Talk KRMS

A fire problem leads to a government safety investigation into some of Ford’s largest pickup trucks.

WWJ’s Jeff Gilbert says these are F250, F350 and up…all 2015 to 2021 models.

There were 12 accidents and 4 injuries that may have resulted from diesel leaks resulting from a rupture in the secondary fuel filter housing.

Ford has agreed to assist in the investigation.

It’s too early to say whether the problem will result in a recall.
