Fugitive New York City rape suspect attacked unconscious woman

NEW YORK, NY – The New York Police Department is seeking public assistance in locating 39-year-old Kashaan Parks, who is wanted in connection with multiple charges, including first-degree rape and assault.

The incident occurred around 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1, near East 152 Street and 3 Avenue in the 40th Ward. The suspect reportedly attacked a 45-year-old woman from behind, causing her to lose consciousness and sexually assaulting her.

The suspect then fled on foot toward Melrose Avenue. The victim was transported via private transportation to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition.
