Officers Arrest Clayton Man on 6th DUI – Delaware State Police

Delaware State Police arrested a 60-year-old man Victor Tusso of Clayton, Delaware, on a sixth-offense charge of intoxication Saturday afternoon.

On May 11, 2024, at approximately 3:03 p.m., an officer responded to a Ford Taurus that had crashed into a mailbox and fence in the 700 block of Wheatley’s Pond Road near Clayton. When the officer arrived, he spoke with the driver, identified as Victor Tusso. He showed signs of impairment and the officer administered standardized field sobriety tests. After the tests, Tusso was arrested for driving under the influence and a computer check revealed that he had five prior drunk driving convictions. During a search of Tusso and his car, the officer found a small amount of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Tusso was not injured in the accident.

Tusso was transported to Troop 9, where he was charged with the following crimes, arraigned by Justice of the Peace 7, and remanded to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $6,450 bail.
