A single car accident snarls traffic on Victory Dr Monday evening. to a standstill

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – A single car accident on Victory Dr. brought traffic to a temporary standstill on this rainy Monday evening in Savannah.

Outside the News 3 studio, several police officers and emergency responders helped move the white Altima involved in the crash to a nearby parking lot. Apparently a speed limit sign was hit in the accident, but there was no significant damage to the median.

We are still learning more about what caused the accident and whether the driver is OK.

Traffic was backed up for about a mile while police investigated, but the road has since been cleared.
