Man arrested for sexual assault of minor in apartment; Montgomery Co. Police are concerned about possible additional victims

A 33-year-old man was arrested late last month in Rockville, Maryland, on charges of sexually assaulting a juvenile, police said.

A 33-year-old man was arrested late last month for sexually abusing a teenager at the child’s home in Rockville, Maryland, police said.

Eric Bacon is charged with first-degree rape of a minor and burglary, Montgomery County police said in a news release.

Investigators said the victim came home at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, and Bacon was at the apartment in the 15000 block of Frederick Road.

Bacon sexually assaulted the minor and left, police said. The victim’s brother came home about four hours later and saw Bacon still outside the house.

Bacon is also accused of stealing an undisclosed amount of property from the residence.

Two days later, at 5 a.m. Friday, April 26, police picked Bacon up nine blocks away in the 15900 block of Frederick Road during a routine patrol.
