BOONE COUNTY, WV (WOWK) – A suspect wanted in Thursday’s stabbing of a man in Boone County was arrested Friday evening, according to the West Virginia Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation (WVDCR).


The WVDCR website said 18-year-old Kobe Alan Miller of South Charleston was booked into the South Central Regional Jail on $100,000 bail around 6:50 p.m. Friday. Miller was wanted in connection with the stabbing of a man in the 600 block of Meadow Fork Road in Hewet on Thursday.

According to West Virginia State Police Senior Trooper A. Workman, the victim told troopers that the suspect came into his home and stabbed him while he was in bed, although Workman said the victim’s condition is now changing stable.

Police also arrested Taea Scruggs, 24, of Oak Hill on Thursday in connection with the stabbing. She is charged with accessory after the fact to intentional bodily harm and is currently also being held at the South Central Regional Jail.
