Taste of Buffalo Announces Poster Contest Winners

BUFFALO, NY — The Taste of Buffalo will return in July and to help promote it, organizers needed art for the posters.

A competition was held and Kelli Dingle, from Albion, won the grand prize with her entry in the 13-17 age group. Kelli’s artwork will now be used for the official festival poster.

Oh, and she also won $1,000.

Event organizers were “impressed with the many wonderful submissions to our annual poster competition, and this year was no different,” Taste of Buffalo President Tom Mahoney said in a statement. “The Taste of Buffalo congratulates Kelli on her fantastic winning design and extends our sincere thanks to everyone who submitted it.”

Stephen Forman Jr., of Buffalo, won the 18-and-older competition and will receive $500 from the festival and Tops Friendly Markets.

Taste of Buffalo is the nation’s largest two-day food festival. Entering its 41st year, it will be held July 13-14 along Delaware Avenue, its traditional venue.

The event was recently recognized in USA Today’s 10BEST Reader’s Choice Travel Award 2023 for the city’s best food festival.
