Cara has begun clearing away the remains of her $7 million Los Angeles mansion, which fell victim to a devastating fire in March.

According to the Daily MailBulldozers were deployed to the site where, despite the destruction, the basin remained untouched, still full of water and cordoned off pending further development.

At the time of the fire, Cara was in London for her Cabaret debut. It took nearly two hours for 94 firefighters and 13 engines to fully contain the fire.

Fearing the loss of her beloved pets during the inferno, the supermodel first shared her photos on Instagram and wrote: “My heart is broken today. I can’t believe it. Life can change in an instant. So appreciate what you have.”

The 31-year-old later rejoiced after firefighters rescued them, writing: “They are alive! Thank you to the firefighters.”

In a statement, the Los Angeles Fire Department said it received an urgent call around 3:57 a.m. reporting an inferno at the $7 million LA home.

When the firefighters arrived there was a “severe fire.” One room was completely consumed by the fire, which “developed into a deep-seated attic fire,” and it took a team of 94 firefighters over two hours to extinguish the flames.

“Responders confirmed that all occupants had evacuated the home and then retreated back into defensive mode due to the long duration of the heavy fire that exposed the structural components,” the LAFD statement said.

Following the harrowing ordeal, reports confirmed that the roof of Cara’s home had collapsed, but miraculously, no serious injuries were reported.

However, an LAFD spokesperson announced, “One firefighter was transported to the hospital due to injury and one occupant suffered minor smoke inhalation.”

Pandora Delevingne, Cara’s mother, spoke of her daughter’s deep despair after the fire, lamenting: “She had everything in her house, her whole life. She built it, she did it. She has everything in it.”

Cara’s father, Charles Delevingne, also suspected the fire was due to electrical problems, citing “very windy” weather conditions.

However, despite an extensive investigation, the Los Angeles Fire Department deemed the cause “undetermined” and ruled out foul play after the arson squad’s investigation.

Cara purchased the sprawling 8,000 square foot mansion in 2019 for $7 million. During a tour of her home on Architectural Digest in 2021, she shared a glimpse of her eclectic design style, inspired by “Alice in Wonderland.”

The interior featured striking elements like Gucci wallpaper, a whimsical ball pit, and a unique room called the “Pink P-Ssy Palace,” complete with a tunnel that resembled the vagina.

After a recent interview on the Met Gala red carpet alongside Ed Sheeran and Stella McCartney, Cara was criticized for her appearance. An online troll even suggested that the model was taking drugs.

The person commented under a video shared by E! News: “They’re saving her from ruining the interview because she’s so drunk they had to intervene.”

“Nobody is perfect. To be honest, it’s the least I can do,” Cara added.
