Stabbing suspect arrested | News

In the early morning hours of November 10, 2021, Covington Police Department officers responded near the intersection of N. Taylor Street and Schoultz Drive to a male subject lying in the street suffering from multiple stab wounds to the upper torso area.

On November 12, 2021, the Covington Police Department Criminal Investigation Division arrested 50-year-old Stephon E. James for Violation of LRS 14:37.7, Aggravated Assault in the Second Degree (Felony) in connection with this stabbing incident and fugitive warrants through St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office and Probation and Parole.
