Teen arrested for Monday night shooting in Bogalusa | News

On Monday, July 3, 2023, just before midnight, an incident occurred near Travis’ supermarket in which a 20-year-old was shot in the lower leg.

The suspect, a 17-year-old teenager, was quickly identified and subsequently arrested for the following crimes:

– Illegal possession of a handgun by a juvenile

– Illegal use of weapons/dangerous instruments

– Attempted second degree murder

– Obstruction of justice

The juvenile was taken to the Florida Parish Juvenile Detention Center.

This matter remains under investigation and further details will be released at a later date.
