‘Dictatorship in India like Russia and North Korea’: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal attacks BJP during Delhi roadshow | India News

NEW DELHI: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday attacked the BJP at a roadshow in Moti Nagar, accusing the party of sending him to jail and accusing it of being dictatorial.

“You all prayed for me. It is thanks to your love and the grace of God that I stand among you today. Now these people are saying that I have to go back to prison after 20 days. Well, if you don’t want that.” “If that happens, then vote for the AAP-India alliance on May 25,” Kejriwal said.

He further attacked the BJP and said, “I worked for Delhi, so the BJP sent me to jail. My only crime is that I provided free electricity, water and healthcare facilities to the people of Delhi. I gave free bus rides to the women,” said the BJP I am in jail for this crime. You sit in the center, you had to build 5,000 more schools, but instead you put me in prison.

The Delhi CM also claimed that the BJP’s aim is to eliminate reservations, constitution and elections from the country. “These people want to bring about a dictatorship in India like in Russia and North Korea. Where there are no elections. Only one person runs the dictatorship. If you don’t want this to happen, then vote against the BJP this time,” he further added.

The roadshow, which was held in support of AAP’s Lok Sabha candidate in New Delhi, Somnath Bharti, was also attended by Bhagwant Mann. The Punjab CM supported the Delhi CM saying, “Arvind Kejriwal may have been released from jail for just 20 days, but in these 20 days itself he will change the country.”

Kejriwal, who is currently out on bail until June 1 and is due to surrender on June 2, expressed concern about the consequences of his possible return to prison. He alleged that the BJP had sent him to jail because of his work for the people of Delhi and they did not want him to continue serving the public.

The chief minister made allegations saying that he was deprived of insulin injections for 15 days during his time in Tihar Jail. He warned that if he was sent back to prison, the BJP would hamper ongoing works in Delhi, including providing free electricity, maintaining schools and running hospitals and mohalla clinics.

Kejriwal also urged the public to vote for Somnath Bharti and stressed that Bharti was always available to help people in need even at odd hours.

Arvind Kejriwal also held a roadshow along with Bhagwant Mann in Uttam Nagar later in the day. There he also reaffirmed the dictatorship and said: “My life is dedicated to the country. In these 20 days I will travel all over the country and appeal to the people to defeat these dictatorial forces, otherwise these people will destroy the country.” Constitution and reservation.

He again attacked the BJP and said, “I have been out for 20 days, but if you press the broom button firmly, I will not have to go to jail again.” They sent me to jail only because I am committed to the welfare of the people deployed in Delhi. The BJP people could not tolerate my work in the interest of the people and therefore sent me to jail.

He then supported the Lok Sabha candidate from West Delhi. “Mahabal Mishra is a gentleman, he helps you in your happiness and sadness. The BJP MP from here doesn’t even have the manners to talk. Have you ever seen him? If you win Mahabal Mishra by pressing the broom button, he will do all your work,” Kejriwal said.
