Patient insults and attacks doctor in Kozhikode hospital | Kerala News

Kozhikode: A man who was rushed to a private hospital here after sustaining injuries in a car accident insulted and attacked the doctor and staff. The patient attacked Dr. Susmith from Holy Cross Hospital in Kodenchery. Footage had emerged of the defendant attempting to hit Susmith in the head with a rock. According to hospital staff, the defendant was under the influence of alcohol. Kodenchery police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.

The incident happened around midnight yesterday. Although the defendant was given first aid for his injuries and allowed to leave, he later returned and insulted the doctor for not receiving proper treatment.
The staff used force to force him to leave the hospital. However, he lurked outside and attacked the doctor when he came out. The CCTV footage showed the man trying to hit the doctor on the head as he pushed him away.
