Pedestrian struck and killed in Waterbury

WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — A pedestrian in Waterbury was killed last night after being struck by a vehicle, police said.

Waterbury police responded to 836 East Main St. at 10 p.m. after a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian. According to authorities, the pedestrian, who was an adult male, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.


The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is assisting the Waterbury Crash Reconstruction Unit with their investigation. Anyone with information about this accident is asked to call 203-346-3975.
