Keon Coleman, Joe Andreessen and John Murphy

Rookie minicamp for the Bills is over and early signs point to a promising start for Keon Coleman. There were videos on social media of him playing, but he admitted that before he took the field he was nervous, adding: “Once I grabbed the helmet and I I put it, it kind of brought me back to real life, like it was reality now. »

Fans will continue to try to keep our expectations in check for what Coleman will bring to the Bills offense in 2024, but it hasn’t been easy. Coleman has been a breath of fresh air with that attitude and energy. He also received a package from Nike containing several new coats, from one of his first press conferences. Andreessen went undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft, but received an invitation to the Bills’ rookie camp. He performed well enough for Buffalo to sign him to a one-year deal. Adreessen is a native of Depew, New York, and spent the 2023 season with the UB Bulls. He is 6’1″ tall and weighs 232 pounds. In 2023, he recorded 90 tackles, including 12 for a loss.

The team announced earlier in the week that Murphy would step down; however, he could still be involved on match days. Murphy began his career with the Bills 35 years ago and was the voice of One Bills Live for years. Unfortunately, in January 2023, he suffered a stroke and is still recovering from the effects. Former Bills great Steve Tasker said, “Having a voice like Murph that you recognize so easily both on camera in his television work and also in radio, there’s just a comfort level that gives give people a real sense of belonging.”
