Police said they do not yet know what led to the argument, but the delivery driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

HOUSTON — A pizza delivery driver shot and killed a customer after an argument early Sunday morning, Houston police said.

It happened around 12:40 a.m. at an apartment complex on Yellowstone Boulevard off Highway 288 near Highway 90 Alt.

Police said they do not yet know what led to the argument, but the delivery driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

“We don’t know how the pizza delivery went so bad that someone ended up getting shot,” said HPD Sgt. Mark Holbrook. “But that’s what we’re investigating right now.”

It is unclear whether charges will be filed.
