Game Notes: For the third time in just over a calendar year, the Detroit Tigers will face their former ace, Justin Verlander.

A lot could be said about Verlander and his epic career with the Tigers. With a Cy Young Award, an MVP, Rookie of the Year and multiple trips to the World Series, Verlander couldn’t spend enough seasons away from Detroit to damage his reputation. However, it’s still a little weird to see him at Comerica Park sporting a non-Tigers logo.
