The Atlanta Fed leaves its forecast for US GDP growth at 4.1% for the second quarter

NEW YORK (Reuters) – The U.S. economy grew 4.1 percent annualized in the second quarter as the government announced a cut in construction spending in March and revised its construction activity figures upwards in February, the Atlanta Federal Reserve’s GDPNow forecasting model showed. Tuesday.

The latest estimate of gross domestic product growth was unchanged from the pace estimated Monday, the Atlanta Fed said.
