Buffalo Bills fan found naked, covered in human waste after falling into hole near Highmark Stadium

An unidentified football fan, naked and “covered in human feces,” was discovered Sunday in a hole at a construction site near the Buffalo Bills’ home opener. The extent of his injuries was a cut to his forehead, according to WBEN.

Bills Mafia is considered one of the largest fan bases in American sports. They are boisterous, unpredictable, passionate and yet humble enough to stay away from other fans’ niches. Whether it’s jumping on tables, going shirtless in the dead of winter, or shoveling players’ driveways so they can get to the airport, Buffalo Bills fans have always found a way to beat everyone else in America. That said, there are still some unsavory individuals making the news.

This whole thread is a rollercoaster. I’m just glad I was old enough to join the Erie County Sheriff’s Department on this ride. Just when you think it’s over, another incredible fact is thrown at you that pulls you back into the narrative.

How did the Bills fan fall into the hole?

According to the thread, the anonymous fan is a 29-year-old man who jumped over a fence near the stadium construction site on the west side of Highmark Stadium. He fell 30 to 40 feet and suffered only a cut to his forehead. But wait, there’s more.

The fan was naked and covered in human feces he had found in a porta potty on site, a double whammy. As you can probably assume, he was under the influence of drugs and alcohol, a mixture of LSD, cocaine and marijuana.

Once the rescue team arrived on scene, it took approximately 20 minutes to remove the ventilator from the hole and transport him to Erie County Medical Center, where he was treated for a short time before being transferred to Buffalo General. There is no mention of how long the man was stuck in the hole, although the thread says the first call about the man came in at 12:18 p.m. local time.

The man is still being evaluated and has been issued a summons to appear in the City of Orchard Park for Criminal Trespass.

Construction of the Bills’ new stadium, named New Highmark Stadium, is taking place west of the current Highmark Stadium, just across Abbott Road and just south of Community College Drive, in what was formerly called Parking Lot Lot 3. We don’t know where the hole is. in question is exactly in this lot.

Unfortunately for the man in question, he didn’t get to see his Bills dominate the Las Vegas Raiders 38-10. The team is now 1-1 and will be on the road for Week 3 against the Washington Commanders.

We will continue to monitor and update this story as we obtain more details.
