Woman arrested for aggravated assault on a man

A woman has been arrested after a man was flown to hospital following a serious attack.

It happened on Gilders Way in Clacton at around 6.45pm BST on Saturday.

Essex Police said the man was taken to hospital by ambulance and the woman was arrested in connection with the attack.

Officials said they believed it was an isolated incident.
