Shooting in Laurens Co. Under Investigation

WARE SHOALS, S.C. (WSPA) – Officers are investigating a fatal shooting in Laurens County.

According to the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office, there is a large police presence near Ware Shoals Dragway.

The Laurens County Coroner’s Office confirmed one person is dead. Officials believe this is an isolated incident.

According to reports, the drag strip was hosting a “Best of Both Worlds Car and Bike Show” that began around 3 p.m
