Former middle school teacher is accused of raping a boy after his mother found her nude photos on his phone

Georgetown Police Department Alexandria Allen

A former middle school substitute teacher has been arrested in Kentucky after authorities accuse her of raping one of her former students.

Alexandria Allen, 25, was arrested by police in Georgetown on Monday on three counts of third-degree rape, online records confirm.

Investigators said Allen was teaching at Royal Spring Middle School in Georgetown at the time of her alleged crimes, and the victim was an eighth-grader.

An arrest warrant alleges Allen first met the 15-year-old while she was in a position of authority or public trust, LEX 18 reports.

The allegations first came to light in October 2020.

The victim’s mother reported Allen to police after she allegedly found nude photos and videos of the teacher on her son’s phone.

Allen had been hired as a tutor for the boy.

Police interviewed the teen, who told them he had sex with Allen.

“I was disgusted because you were supposed to help him and she didn’t help him at all,” the mother told LEX 18. (The station is concealing her identity.)

The alleged rapes occurred in at least three different locations between March and October 2020, including the Hilton Inn in Georgetown.

Allen’s attorney could not be reached for comment. He pleaded not guilty on Allen’s behalf during a hearing Tuesday.

Allen was released after paying $2,500. She is not allowed to have any contact with the victim.

She will return to court in February.
