Public Information and Alert: Violent Sex Offender Released

White will reside in Edmonton upon his release from prison. He is currently subject to a conditional court order and is being cared for by the Edmonton Police Service’s Behavioral Assessment Unit.

White is a violent sexual predator who has a history of violence and has caused physical harm to his victims while committing crimes. He physically and sexually harassed female adults, particularly vulnerable women, including sex workers. White also physically assaulted a toddler and an older adult.

White was made subject to a number of court-ordered conditions, including:

• He must reside at a residence approved by his supervisor and may not change that address until he receives written approval from his supervisor.
• He must observe a daily curfew from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. unless his supervisor has approved a different time in writing.
• He may not leave the City of Edmonton without written permission from his supervisor.
• He must wear an electronic monitoring device.
• He is not allowed to visit areas where sex workers are known to be recruited.
• He may not consume or possess any alcohol or drugs listed in the Schedules of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, with the exception of cannabis, prescription medications not prescribed to you, or other intoxicating substances.
• He must notify his designated supervisor before entering into a personal, sexual or intimate relationship, cohabitation, marriage or civil union with a woman and must disclose his criminal history to the woman.
