Hezbollah is stockpiling thousands of precision munitions: Israeli analyst

A recent report from the Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom on May 10 brought to light the ongoing challenges facing the Israeli army in its efforts to weaken the strength of Hezbollah’s Al-Ridwan force.

Despite seven months of concerted efforts to “neutralize Hezbollah operatives, the Al-Ridwan Force’s operational capabilities appear to be largely intact,” the Israeli report said.

Last month, during a visit to Northern Command, Israeli Security Minister Yoav Galant proudly announced that half of Hezbollah’s commanders in southern Lebanon had been eliminated.

However, subsequent statements from Galant, including one made this week to the Galilee division, suggest the mission is far from over and raise the possibility of a hot summer.

At an academic security conference in a settlement in occupied western Al-Jalil, analysts shed light on the effectiveness of Israel’s extermination policy in Lebanon.

Despite the reported martyrdom of hundreds of Hezbollah members, including senior officials such as Jawad Al-Tawil, whom the report describes as the commander of Al-Ridwan Force, the group’s operational efficiency remains impressive.
