However, the girl returned to Chennai and surrendered at the police station where a missing girl case was registered based on her parents’ complaint. The girl was then married to her maternal uncle, he said. He refused to accept the complainant’s claims, The judge said: “Although the victim is now happily married, the psychological trauma or impact of such an incident would haunt her forever.” Regarding the claim of a consensual relationship, the court said : “It is clear that the complainant has committed an act.” a serious offense. He was much older than the victim. A 25-year-old man cannot be aware of the consequences of a girl’s pregnancy.”
