Missing Roane County woman found safe

KINGSTON, Tenn. (WATE) – A missing Roane County woman for whom the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued a Silver Alert has been found and is safe after she was last seen in Harriman.

On Friday evening, the TBI issued a Silver Alert for Margaret Perkins, 52. At that time, the TBI said she was last seen on Monday, May 6, in Harriman.

On Saturday afternoon, the TBI reported that Perkins had been found and was safe.

Perkins is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. with black hair and blue eyes.

The TBI said she has a medical condition that could impact her ability to return home safely and independently.

Anyone who has seen Perkins or has information about her whereabouts is asked to call the Roane County Sheriff’s Office at 865-376-5582 or 1-800-TBI-FIND.
