Woman died in an accident in Lorena, Texas on May 11th

LORENA, Texas – A woman is dead after a fatal crash on May 11 in Lorena, Texas, police said.

Lorena PD said first responders received a call around 8:23 a.m. about a single-vehicle accident on IH35 SB around mile marker 322. When officers arrived, they reportedly learned that the vehicle’s sole occupant, a woman, had suffered “life-threatening injuries.”

Police said the woman had to be extricated from the vehicle and Lorena Fire Department personnel administered first aid.

During the investigation, police said the woman was identified as Jatana Guinzy, who had been reported missing from North Carolina.

Lorena PD said the investigation is ongoing as they work with North Carolina authorities to “put together the circumstances” of the situation.
