Teen killed in shooting in downtown Las Vegas, no arrest made

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Metro police are investigating a deadly shooting that left a teenager dead in the central Las Vegas Valley.

Around 10:45 a.m. Saturday, police responded to a report of a shooting outside a home in the 2300 block of Goldhill Way, near Vegas Drive and MLK Boulevard.


When officers arrived, they found a teenager suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Police said the teenager was outside his home when the suspect, who was another man possibly in his late teens, shirtless and wearing blue jeans, walked up to the victim and shot him.

The suspect was seen fleeing the scene south on Robin Street, police said. The suspect is currently unidentified.
