The cleanup after the Broward crash has secured Florida’s Turnpike to Miami-Dade

The cleanup of an accident at the Hollywood Boulevard exit from Florida’s Turnpike caused northbound traffic to be gridlocked in a stop-and-go state as far south as Miami Gardens on Saturday.

The crash occurred in the morning, but cleanup efforts continued into the afternoon. From Miami-Dade, take Interstate 95 north, US 441 or US 1 north until further notice.
