A bouncer at a Douglas pub has been given a suspended prison sentence after attacking a reveler in the recent TT.

Warren Clark, of King William’s Terrace, Castletown, appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.

The 57-year-old denied attacking him outside the Nag’s Head on Victoria Street on June 3 last year but was convicted after a trial.

He had escorted four people from the bar because of their behavior, but video surveillance showed Clark punching a woman in the face.

Clark was jailed for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay £1,000 costs.
