KBI investigates officer-involved shooting in Kansas City

Kansas City, Kansas police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the area of ​​South 7th Street Trafficway and I-35 around 11:00 p.m. A citizen who reported the stolen vehicle to 911 discovered that the vehicle, a silver Hyundai Sonata, had stopped in the 1500 block of South 7th Street Trafficway and then saw the subjects running away. At almost the same time, an officer arrived and observed three men fleeing the car. He pursued them and initiated a foot pursuit.
