Strictly’s Layton Williams calls out Ekin-Su after Nikita Kuzmin incident

Strictly Come Dancing star Layton Williams has confronted Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu about flirting with Nikita Kuzmin.

On yesterday’s (March 13) episode of Celebrity Big Brother, Louis Walsh asked Ekin-Su if she could imagine a romance between her and Nikita.

However, the Love Island winner quickly rejected the suggestion, saying she would “never” go because Nikita has “a girlfriend”.

After Sharon Osbourne singled out Nikita as one of the housemates who made the biggest impression on her before leaving the house, Ekin-Su followed Nikita into the bedroom to tell him, “What Sharon said about you is exactly right. I think she did the right thing. You are a good person and have good energy and I can trust you.

“Thanks Ekin-Su, that’s really nice of you,” the professional dancer replied, to which Ekin-Su added, “Because you deserve it.”

Layton, who worked with Nikita in the latest series of Strictly, later appeared on spin-off show Celebrity Big Brother: Late and Live, where he said the conversation was “awkward” to watch.

“Honestly, it was really embarrassing because I treated her like a fair play girl when she said, ‘Oh no, he has a girlfriend,'” he began.

“By the way, just because someone has a partner doesn’t mean they’re interested in you anyway, so I don’t really like that angle, no shade, but full of shade.”

“But then going into the bedroom while he’s changing, girl, give the boy some privacy and to compliment him, I really read the room. Nikita simply said ‘Thank you’ and left. Yes, Nikita.”

Nikita confirmed his relationship with his model girlfriend Lauren Jaine back in October.

Celebrity Big Brother airs Sunday to Friday at 9pm on ITV1 and ITV Hub, followed by Late & Live on ITV2 immediately after each new episode.
