Woman found dead along US 59 near Livingston, Texas

POLK COUNTY, Texas – According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, officers are searching for a man wanted in connection with a murder investigation after a woman was found dead near Livingston.

De’Andre Shermail Wright, 23, of Livingston, is charged with murder in the death of Jasmine Muldoon, according to the sheriff’s office.

Officials said Muldoon was found Monday in a wooded area off U.S. Highway 59 north of Livingston. She was reported missing on Sunday.

Her body was taken to the Harris County Coroner’s Office for examination and cause of death determination.

Deputies are asking the public for help in finding Wright.
