According to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch, officers were dispatched to the area of ​​Cornell Drive at Otterbein Avenue in Dayton at 1:31 a.m. Saturday. Officers were dispatched to someone who reported hearing gunshots.

According to Dispatch, a person showed up at Kettering Health Dayton sometime after the call.
