Diddy defends herself against Jane Doe’s rape accusation – AllHipHop

Hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is currently fighting to dismiss a disturbing lawsuit against him and his companies following serious allegations of sexual misconduct dating back to 2003.

The lawsuit, filed by the unnamed plaintiff identified only as Jane Doe, accuses Diddy, Bad Boy employee Harve Pierre and an unnamed partner of abducting her when she was 17 at his recording studio, Daddy’s House Turning Manhattan into sex trafficking and gang rape.

In her lawsuit, filed on December 6, 2023, Doe claims that she was forced to perform oral sex during their traumatic encounter by Diddy’s longtime producing partner Harve Pierre, who was also allegedly smoking crack cocaine during the incident.

The complaint details how Pierre allegedly transported her on a private jet from Detroit to New York and plied her with drugs and alcohol until she became drunk and could no longer consent.

The file contains photos purportedly from the night in question, one showing Doe sitting on Combs’ lap, supporting her claims.

Diddy’s legal team, led by attorney Jonathan Davis, has made several arguments in favor of dismissing the allegations, primarily emphasizing that the lawsuit is time-barred.

The alleged incidents occurred in 2003, but the legal action was not taken until 2023, well beyond the statute of limitations.

Davis stressed in court documents that any claim to revive the case under the Gender-Based Violence (VGM) Victims Protection Act should be disregarded as it conflicts with the provisions of the Child Victims Act (CVA), 2019 .

According to Diddy’s defense, the deadline to file claims under this law expired in August 2021, rendering Doe’s allegations procedurally invalid.

Additionally, Diddy’s representation asserted that his colleagues’ alleged conduct should not be attributed to him or his companies, asserting that such actions did not fall within the scope of employment law obligations.

Davis also criticized the lawsuit’s narrative technique.

“At the top of Plaintiff’s brief is a boldfaced, legally irrelevant ‘trigger warning’ designed to draw attention to his salacious and depraved allegations. “This stunt is intended to highlight a baseless and time-barred claim,” Davis said.

For his part, Harve Pierre has denied all the allegations made against him, describing them as completely fabricated and motivated by financial interests.

Pierre explained: “This is a fiction. I have never participated in, seen or heard of anything like this. These vile claims are false and a desperate attempt for financial gain.”
