One dead in shooting in Greenville

The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit and Jersey City Police are investigating the death of a person in the area of ​​Pearsall Avenue and Garfield Avenue last night.

According to a resident who wished to remain anonymous, the victim, who was behind the wheel of a car, was shot off Pearsall Ave. around 10 p.m. 28 shot in the head. The car then crashed into cars parked nearby.

If the shooting is confirmed, it would be the fourth homicide in Jersey City this year.
