4 shots, 1 dead at business in Southland Park neighborhood

According to Louisville Metro Police, several people were shot at a store in Southland Park early Saturday morning.

At approximately 5 a.m., Third Division officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Evangeline Avenue in reference to a shooting at a store.

LMPD said the business is called The Hot Spot.

This is in the Southland Park neighborhood, about a mile east of Iroquois Park.

When they got there, they found a man shot. They also found another man and woman who were shot but alive.

The two living victims were taken to UofL Hospital.

Just a short time later, a fourth victim, a man, showed up at UofL Hospital with a gunshot wound from the incident.

One of the men is in critical condition and the other is in stable condition.

The woman’s condition is considered serious.

The LMPD Homicide Unit is investigating.
