IPL 2024: Rishabh Pant suspended for one match, fined Rs 30 lakh for THIS reason

The BCCI has suspended Rishabh Pant for one match and fined him Rs 30 lakh for slow speeding offenses in the IPL 2024. The Delhi Capitals captain will miss the league match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on May 12. Rishabh was suspended and fined for his third slow-over attack of the current season.

The BCCI has suspended Rishabh pants for a game because of slow, over-the-top offense in IPL 2024. The Delhi capitalsThe (DC) captain will miss the league match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on May 12. Rishabh was not only banned but also fined Rs 30 lakh. “As it was Rishabh Pant’s team’s third attack this season IPLRishabh Pant has been fined Rs 30 lakh and suspended for one match due to the IPL’s Code of Conduct relating to minimum overage violations,” the IPL said in a statement.

“The remaining members of the playing eleven, including the Impact player, have been individually fined either Rs 12 lakh or 50 per cent of their respective match fees, whichever is less.”

As per BCCI rules, a captain will be fined Rs 12 lakh for the first over-speeding offence. For the second offence, he will be fined Rs 24 lakh. The captain will be fined Rs 30 lakh and banned for one match if his team fails to bowl complete overs in the stipulated time for the third time in a season.
