Two have been arrested after a man was taken to hospital with a stab wound

Two people have been arrested after a man was taken to hospital with a serious stab wound in Wakefield.

West Yorkshire Police said officers were called to Moor Road in Featherstone just after 8pm BST on Friday to reports of a disturbance.

A 31-year-old man was found with serious, believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

According to police, a 36-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman were arrested in connection with the incident.
