Large police presence in downtown Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – We’re tracking a large police presence in downtown Lexington.

Our crew on scene spotted multiple patrol cars and officers in the area of North Limestone and West Main Street. Part of the road is closed.

Multiple police units responded to the 211 block of East Main Street and North Limestone last night at 10:35 p.m.

An adult male was found at the scene with a gunshot wound and was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries

There is currently no suspect information and the victim has not been identified.
