Third person arrested in October shooting in downtown Lincoln that left four people injured

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Another man is facing multiple felony charges in an October shooting that left four people injured in downtown Lincoln.

Alvin Jones Jr., 25, was booked into the Lancaster County Jail Monday, according to booking records. An arrest warrant was issued for Jones last week.

He is charged with four counts of second-degree assault, use of a firearm to commit a felony and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

An affidavit of arrest was not yet available.

At about 12:45 a.m. on Oct. 20, officers were dispatched to 14th Street and O Street on a report of a shooting, the Lincoln Police Department said.

According to police, they found a victim at 13th Street and O Street with an injury that was not life-threatening.

Three other victims arrived at a local hospital shortly afterwards. They had injuries that were not life-threatening.

Teethloach Biel, 17, and Chudier Tut, 20, were also arrested in the shooting.

Both were charged with a variety of crimes, including second-degree assault and using a weapon to commit a felony.
