Portland State University reports an “incident on campus” and shelters are in place

PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — Portland State University said on social media late Friday evening that there had been an “incident on campus” and urged those on campus to seek shelter and avoid the area.

The post on X, formerly known as Twitter, did not provide any further details.

KATU has reached out to the university and the Portland Police Bureau for more information.
