LMPD investigates officer-involved incident on Dixie Highway

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) is investigating a critical officer-involved incident near Dixie Highway late Friday evening.

LMPD said the incident occurred in the 4700 block of Crawford Avenue. This is near the Panera Bread and Home Depot on Dixie Highway.

An LMPD spokesman said there is a heavy police presence in the area.

WHAS11 has a crew on site.
