Salina man hospitalized after motorcycle accident

SALINE COUNTY – One person was injured in a crash just before 5:30 p.m. Friday in Saline County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Victory motorcycle driven by Timothy Park Barr, 51, Salina, was traveling eastbound on Interstate 70 and turned onto southbound Interstate 135.

The motorcycle was traveling too fast to make the turn onto southbound Interstate 135. The motorcycle continued through the blood, crossed the southbound lanes of Interstate 135, rolled onto its side and stopped at the center guardrail.

EMS transported Barr to Salina Regional Health Center. According to KHP, he was not wearing a helmet.
