Police say a man was taken to the hospital after a hit-and-run on Thomas Street

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Memphis Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that left one man in critical condition.

At approximately 8:55 p.m., officers responded to a pedestrian struck on Thomas Street near Stage Avenue.

When officers arrived, they discovered that a man had been injured.

The man was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

According to MPD, the car responsible did not remain at the scene.
