Lyft driver stabbed, Rochester woman arrested

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A Rochester woman was arrested Friday evening after a Lyft driver was stabbed in the city.

According to police, officers were called to Resolute Street around 6:40 p.m. for reports of a stabbing. They found a 30-year-old Lyft driver who had been stabbed in the torso. According to police, he was treated at the scene for a minor injury.

The suspect, a 21-year-old woman, was found nearby. She was arrested and charged with assault.
