Maryland man charged with multiple sex crimes

According to police, in each incident Ibn Rosario groped or touched the victims and in two cases made sexual comments to the women.

GAITHERSBURG, Md. – A Maryland man has been arrested and charged with multiple sexual offenses. Montgomery County police now believe there are additional victims.

On Thursday, May 9, police arrested 18-year-old Ibn Muhammad Rosario for allegedly assaulting at least four women. The attacks took place over a four-day period, starting on Monday, May 6th.

In each incident, police said, Rosario groped or touched the victims, and in two cases he made sexual comments to the women.

On Thursday at 10:52 p.m., an officer spotted Rosario walking on Little Seneca Parkway and Snowden Farm Parkway. The officer observed Rosario approach a woman, grope her and then run away.

Officers arrested him and charged Rosario with four counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct and four counts of second-degree assault. He is currently being held without bail after officers discovered he was under pretrial supervision at the time of his arrest.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have been a victim to call officers at 240-773-6263.
