Paducah man arrested in connection with series of robberies | News

PADUCAH – The Paducah Police Department arrested 26-year-old Bryce Woodson of Paducah in connection with a series of robberies at a local supermarket in Paducah.

Police began investigating the robberies on Monday, May 6.

According to Paducah police, a black male entered the store three times between Monday, May 6, and Thursday, May 9.

On each occasion, the man, later identified as Bryce Woodson, pointed his firearm at the clerk, demanded money and fled before police could arrive.

Paducah police say they were able to identify Woodson from his vehicle, which inevitably led to his arrest.

On Friday, May 10, investigators located Woodson’s vehicle in the area of ​​the store and saw Woodson enter the store.

As they approached the store, investigators said they observed Woodson pointing a gun at the clerk and demanding money.

Investigators confronted Woodson, but he fled the store on foot. He was arrested a short time later.

According to Paducah police, authorities lodged Woodson in the McCracken County Jail and the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department and Kentucky State Police assisted her.
