Police investigate fatal shooting in Cleveland Co.

SHELBY, NC (WBTV) – Shelby Police are investigating a fatal shooting that left one man dead on Friday, May 10th.

Police say they responded to the 600 block of East Warren Street for a shooting just before noon.

When officers arrived on scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.

The Shelby Police Department Criminal Investigation Team is actively investigating this incident.

There have been no arrests at the time of this publication.
