CERES — Authorities are responding to an incident that may have involved a Ceres police officer, the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office said Friday.

The crime scene is near 6th Street and Roeding Road, just off Highway 99.

A large number of police officers are on site.

No further details about the incident have been released at this time.
